Kathy Saniuk, Ward 2 Representative
Bellevue City Council

Welcome to my website!

I encourage you to visit this site periodically to learn more about the work I do as your Ward 2 Bellevue City Council Representative.

If you are not sure which ward you reside in, call the City Clerk's office: 293-3007.  Give them your address, and they will find your ward.

Feel free to visit the "Contact Me" page whenever you have questions, comments or concerns about Bellevue and the issues that pertain to our community.
Thanks for re-electing
Kathy Saniuk

Thanks to all who voted for me - it was a nice affirmation of the work that I have been doing.
I will continue to give my best efforts for the citizens of Ward 2.  Here are some past Council accomplishments that I am proud of:
    •    Clean up and marketing of the Coreslab property (the former Wilson Concrete Site)
    •    Approval of the City Comprehensive Plan and Fort Crook Road Development Plan
    •    Implementation of City Design Standards
    •    Kramer Park and riverfront development
    •    Economic Development (Bellevue Medical Center, Cat Osterman Softball Village, two new businesses along Ft. Crook Rd.)

Some of my remaining goals for the City are:

  • To always protect and preserve the viability of Offutt Airforce Base, which is essential to our economy.
  • Hire, or contract with, a grant writer to obtain additional funds for the City
  • Decide on a master plan for the 270 acres that the City owns on 36th St. and Capehart Road, so it can be marketed, sold, and developed.
  • Begin planning and determining revenue sources for a new police station

I am looking forward to working with the new
mayor, Rita Sanders, and I am excited to see what new opportunities lie ahead for Bellevue.
